Evoxil is used for treating a wide variety of bacterial infections. It stops the bacteria from growing by interfering with the cell wall synthesis. It's used to treat infections of the lungs and airways, middle ear, sinuses, skin, and the urinary tract.
Evoxil should be swallowed with water. Always take Evoxil exactly as your doctor pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Adults and children weighing more than 40kg: The usual dose is 250 mg - 500 mg every 8hours. Children's: children weighing less than 40kg who are able to swallow capsules.
Check with your doctor if any of these most common side effects persist or become bothersome: diarrhea; nausea; vomiting.
